Our story…
Meet Gail Stanfield and Mary Kirkland; a mother-daughter team creating stunning custom-designed quilts in their home studio. Embracing the artistry and tradition of handmade quilts, Stanfield Studio is a testament to the enduring bond between a mother and daughter and their shared passion for quilting. At 94-years-young, Mary continues to inspire everyone around her! Gail has an extensive history in hospitality, and is thrilled to be working side-by-side with her mother. Both enjoy the process of quilting, and through the design and production of these exquisite pieces, they weave together other people’s stories, create real connections, and leave a lasting impact on the lives of those who experience the warmth and beauty of their handmade creations.

With over 143 years of combined sewing experience, Gail and Mary have been honored to be involved with numerous charitable organizations over the past few years including:
Project Linus, donating quilts to hospitals and care facilities for children.
Donating quilts of all sizes to Henderson House, a Women’s Shelter in McMinnville, OR
Donating quilting supplies and fabrics to the Navajo Quilting Project, and teaching the art of quilting to the Navajo women.
Repurposing donated wedding gowns as attractive burial gowns for premature and medically-challenged deceased infants through Angel Babies.
